Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Our Decree
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to God, the father as declared in John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
We believe in Jesus Christ, for it says in John 3:26 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
We believe discipleship is necessary in order for the believer to walk in the fullness of their calling as it says in Matthew 16:13-20 “When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven…” When you know who Jesus is, your walk with Jesus and purpose will be more intentional in the Kingdom of God. When Peter confessed who Christ is, then Jesus showed Peter who he is. Therefor, the foundation of the church is built upon the revelation and confession of Jesus Christ.
Community
Our heart is to gather people together to be raised up in the oneness of the Spirit. We aim to unify individuals within our community, helping them walk in God’s love and power. Through fellowship, teaching, and service, we break down divisiveness and bring wholeness to everyone, with the goal of seeing each person redeemed, restored, and walking in the fullness of their calling and purpose.
Ephesians 4:3-6 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Through fellowship, teaching, and empowerment, we SERVE one another in love. By doing so, we ensure that everyone is uplifted and supported to endure and overcome the challenges of life and the powers of darkness.
Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Together, we create a community of faith where everyone has a role, and by serving each other, we bring about unity, strength, and claim the victory God has promised.
